FEMI Azeez impressed on international duty again for Nigeria, recording an assist as the Super Eagles beat Jamaica 3-0 in the Unity Cup final.
Azeez, 24, pulled off a neat bit of footwork to beat his man in the box, then chipped in a cross that Terem Moffi headed into the net. Alhassan Yusuf scored either side of Moffi’s header as Nigeria emerged comfortable winners at The Valley.
Azeez had previously bagged a brace in the semi-final against Zimbabwe, his first international appearance.

His form was rewarded with a further call-up for Nigeria’s friendlies against Poland on June 3 and Portugal on June 10, but Super Eagles boss Eric Chelle said Millwall will not release him for those matches.
Azeez’s impressive displays for Nigeria have capped off a breakout campaign in which he led the Lions in both goals (eleven) and assists (seven). His eighteen goal contributions ranked joint-seventh in the Championship.
The winger was one of two Lions, along with Tristan Crama, to make the Championship team of the season.
Azeez told Sky Sports on Friday that he had ambitions of playing in the Premier League.
“As a footballer, you always want to play at the highest level you can play at,” Azeez said. “I’ve had a good season in the Championship, and to do it on the international stage as well, it’s just that next step up.
“Whenever I achieve something, I’m always hungry for more; I’m never satisfied with what I’ve got. I’m always going to work towards that next level, because I’m ambitious as a footballer and as a person, and I want to reach as high a level as possible.
“The Premier League is the pinnacle of football. I’d love to play in the Premier League. So obviously, [I’m] working hard, I’m going to do whatever I can to get there.”
Meanwhile, Mihailo Ivanovic came off the bench in the 77th minute as Serbia suffered a 3-0 friendly defeat to Cabo Verde, who are preparing for their first-ever World Cup appearance.
Serbia will face Mexico in another friendly on Friday (kick-off 3 am BST).
