reports that the award-winning artiste spoke during an interview with The Breakfast Club, where she reflected on her December 2023 clash with Davido.
She said the rift with Davido started after she posted an Instagram story showing Sophia Momodu, Davido’s first baby mama.Savage explained that her friendship with Momodu grew naturally because their children attend the same school and have known each other since childhood.
According to her, Davido misinterpreted the situation and believed she was taking sides, which led to harsh exchanges.
She said she felt threatened after receiving unfriendly messages and decided to file a police petition for safety, stressing that it was a precautionary step and not an act of hostility.
Savage added that she had tried to reach out privately through Davido’s family before the matter became public.

She maintained that she has no hatred for him and that her main concern remains the well-being of their children.
The singer also stated that while she has not spoken to Davido since the incident, she still cares about him and insists there is no lasting animosity between them.
She said: “He felt I was taking sides, which wasn’t true. She’s simply the mother of my son’s friend.
Our kids have been friends since they were one, and they’re 10 now. I’ve known David for years, but I also built a bond with Sophia. I didn’t know there were issues between them.
“I reached out to his family first, hoping to resolve it privately. When I got no response and the threats continued, I acted to ensure safety. It wasn’t about revenge.
“I haven’t spoken to him since, but I have love for him. Our kids come first, and that’s what matters.”
